Training and Mentoring
Trillium Trading is looking for the best and brightest candidates. Individuals must have strong analytical skills, proven academic success, thrive in a competitive environment, and be self motivated. Trillium also hires people with a myriad of professional backgrounds that have excelled in their area of expertise, demonstrated a competitive edge and have a passion for the market.
Once an offer has been extended and accepted, all traders must pass an entry exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, Trillium requires all new traders to enter our training program. The training program is comprehensive and multi-faceted, and was developed by some of our most profitable and experienced traders, quantitative analysts and software developers.
Stage one of the training program is conducted in a formal classroom setting. It is a comprehensive program where trainees will learn the basics of trading and technical analysis. Each trainee will have access to a simulated version of our trading platform. Stage two of the training program is conducted on the trading floor with additional classroom hours. During this phase, each new trainee is assigned to, and works directly with, an experienced trader. At this point, the trainee is provided with the necessary capital to begin making trades.
Knowing our success is built on team members, Trillium strongly believes that education is an on-going process. Once formal training is completed, traders are encouraged to take advantage of Trillium's continuing education classes, which are geared to traders of all skill and experience levels.
